Information and Communications Technology (ICT)

We manage and support the day-to-day operational needs of CIB and the network of CIB's delivery services. We manage ICT infrastructure across the organisation and the network of service delivery companies. This includes hardware procurement, software development, data centre server resources and applications, disaster recovery, backups and a dedicated helpdesk.

We are responsible for the Citizens Information website; www.citizensinformation.ie and publications and periodicals. We are also responsible for Citizens Information social media accounts on Facebook and Instagram. Further information is available on our Social Media page.

Data and Research

We develop and distributes social policy, data and research based on evidence from service delivery companies.

We:

• Identify and analyse data trends
• Produce statistical updates
• Prepare evidence-based reports and submissions
• Support the development of quality public services

We also manage the development and ongoing maintenance of the Data Hub on the corporate website.
