Our social media accounts include Facebook,Instagram and LinkedIn. These platforms are used to provide updates on public and social services and to share relevant information.

What to expect

Posts and updates may include:

  • News and developments in public and social services
  • Details of new and updated information on services
  • Information about services we fund and support, including:
    • Citizens Information Services (CIS)
    • Citizens Information Phone Service (CIPS)
    • Money Advice and Budgeting Service (MABS)
    • National Advocacy Service (NAS)
    • Sign Language Interpreting Service (SLIS)
    • Register of Irish Sign Language Interpreters (RISLI)
  • Updates from other organisations, particularly government bodies and service delivery companies that we fund.

Posts are managed by authorised staff.

Responses may be provided where appropriate. However, a response is not guaranteed.

All users are expected to engage respectfully. Content may be removed where necessary, including:

The best way to contact us is through the Contact Us page on our website. If you have queries about social or public services, you can also contact the Citizens Information Phone Service (CIPS) by phone on 01 0818 07 4000 from 9am to 8pm, Monday to Friday.

Please note that communicating with us on social media is not considered official contact with the Citizens Information Board. We are not obliged to monitor or respond to requests made through social media. A lack of response should not be interpreted as refusal to comment.
