We work to improve accessibility of information, advice and advocacy services, with particular focus on groups who may face barriers to accessing services.
We identify these barriers and introduce measures to improve access to services.
We support the provision of information in a range of accessible formats and channels, including online, by telephone, in print and face-to-face through our network of Citizens Information Centres.
We have introduced additional resources and initiatives to improve accessibility, including:
- Publications available in accessible formats
- Accessible information online
- Online Live Advisor service from the Citizens Information Phone Service
- Live Text, SMS and videophone services
- Sign Language Interpreting Service
Be ISL Friendly Online
