This is a response to an invitation to make a submission on the National Strategy for Improving Community Safety which aims to provide a whole of government, whole of society approach to community safety. The submission is informed by the feedback received by CIB from our funded services - the Citizens Information Services (CIS), the Citizens Information Phone Service (CIPS), the Money Advice and Budgeting Service (MABS) and the National Advocacy Service (NAS) for people with disabilities.

This document considers Budget 2025 in the context of CIB's Pre-Budget Submission, which was based on the feedback from our frontline services - Citizens Information Services (CISs), Citizens Information Phone Service (CIPS), the Money Advice and Budgeting Service (MABS), and the National Advocacy Service for People with Disabilities (NAS). We review the new measures introduced in the context of the concerns highlighted in our Pre-Budget Submission.
